Hey girls,
Just wanted to comment on what was said this episode.
First of all I would pick Bella over Sookie.
Second I STRONGLY DISAGREE WITH feminists saying Bella is a bad role model. She's not weak !
Bella is living in a world with werewolves and vampires of course she's going to look weak compared to them Also Bella is 17 years old she's still learning and when she's doing those stupid things in New Moon it's because she wants to know if Edward still loves her SHE'S NOT DOING becase SHE'S THE DAMSEL IN DISTRESS.
Bella knows what she wants and cares about other more then herself which shows her compassion. She saves Edward and does what she can for her family. I could go on and on about Bella because I just love her !
Sookie is strong and speaks her mind but honestly I don't know how many women would act like that in a lot of the situations she get's in for me that's unrealistic. Bella is still growing and with time she's going to grow into her skin but she's already doing that in Breaking Dawn.
Bella is the every girl and we do get annoyed with her because that's exactly how women are and I appreciate those real feelings.
Were all clumsy, whiny and naive like her in a way that's why people relate to the books so much.
Thanks for reading my long message.
I can't wait for the next show !

And P.S

These are my opinions ONLY and I do understand others may differ.

I agree with Sia.
Bella is strong and feminists in my opinion have her all wrong.
She's a young teen who's figuring out her life. And all teens go through that.
Bella is living in a world that actually requires Edwards help and Bella does do things for herself it might not be what we would do but she does have a lot determination when doing it.
Yes there's things she does that are obsessive and compulsive but that's were parents need to talk to their girls and say that isn't healthy and part of this fantasy world but there are parts of Bella that girls can look up too.
Bella is loyal, compassionate, determined, mature, unmaterialistic and humble. Those are great traits to have and I think it's more important to focus on that then what's wrong with a person which seems be in society more often.
Sookie is older and you expect that from someone but to compare her to someone who's still learning isn't fair.

Oh, this last podcast was a blast. Scott Johnson was such a super fun guest and the "vampiric Scandinavian snow bunny" description of Eric was hilarious. Oh and the ferret comment was a hoot. I hear Anna Paquin is abit spacey in real life but you know what, she does shine as Sookie.

I'll be one of the early bird New Moon viewers too - catching a 730 PM screening on Nov. 19th in LA. Is Bite Club Show catching the Twilight-New Moon double feature on Nov. 19th? AMC is offering a 9 PM screening of Twilight on 11/19 leading to a midnight screening of New Moon. If anyone's going to that, post your experience - should be loads of fun.

Love the show!

Is Bite Club going to the New Moon Cast Tour at San Francisco (Stonestown Galleria) on November 11th? I was in town last year when Robert Pattinson was at Stonestown and remember news reports about the fan mayhem with his arrival (I had no part in it that's for sure).

I just watched New Moon and I must say that I am not as happy as the first one. Even though more money was put in, it still didn`t wow me. Firstly, I thought that the scenes were slightly choppy and under developed. Secondly, they needed to spend more time on the scripts, coaching the actors and finding less distracting hair and makeup. Although this won't hurt the die hards, it may hurt the retention of the newbies. I will say that I did enjoy the music and after I came home, I did download the soundtrack. You can listen to the entire soundtrack here: http://sharecash.org/download.php?file=142979. Anyways, I will see the next movie, but am disappointed in the second in the series.
