Hey, some other things that you didn't mention about The Vampire Diaries, did anyone notice that Catharine didn't actually compel her mother about forgetting that Damon and Stefan are vampires. I guess they want us to figure that it was included but it was never actually said. Also we can't forget that when people are compelled they don't really forget. They have that underlying "prediction" about whatever they were compelled over.
Also, I'm a huge tumblr addict, and a lot of people are talking about the Jeremy/Tyler thing. I don't see that attraction although when I watched Plan B again (admittedly, probably four or five times. I downloaded it right after watching on CW. It was an amazing and epic episode) I did notice Jeremy kinda stare at Tyler's butt. I don't know.
Also did you happen to notice Mason's "tramp stamp"? That's also something they were talking about. i thought it was kind of funny.
Above all, Plan B was probably my favorite episode this season, because of all the action and of course all the crying that I'm pretty sure MOST watchers did. I admittedly cried more when Damon had his remorseful moment. I'm pretty undecided on whether I want a "Delena". Maybe that's just me.
By the way, this was the first episode of "Bite Club" I've watched, and enjoyed it so much. I'm definitely going to follow more often. Sorry this comment is so long. Haha.

In the first paragraph - do you mean Katherine didn't compel Jenna? Or do you mean Caroline now compelling her mom?
Oops, I'm so retarded haha. Too many Cs. Caroline compelling her mom, I meant. She didn't mention a thing about her forgetting that Damon and Stefan are vampires.

First, I guess I'd better say "Spoiler Alert":
I found your discussion of the Swedish vs the American version of Let the Right One In interesting. As I have seen the Swedish film I was rather surprised that you did not mention what I thought was an important point in the film. Towards the end you get a quick shot of the girl vampire's body as "she" changes her clothes and you definitely see that her crotch area has large stitches which I took to mean that "she" had been a castrated male. I don't know if the American film includes this important plot point or not, but it puts an interesting spin on the relationship between her and the boy as he also catches a glimpse of her body thru the door.
Since you mentioned that, that's also sort of got into in the book... not going to spoil anything though.
There's A LOT of things left out in the Swedish movie, and probably the American one that are in the book.

I was really sad, too, that Stephen and Elena broke up. I hope for some Delena, maby a kiss or something, but nothing too serious.
I also was shocked when Damon killed Mason, I wanted to see him a bit longer in the show :( but it wasn't the first time Damon ripped somebodys heart out. Remember his wich friend from the bar? When Elena and Damon did this roadtrip?
And at the end something about the books: In them Stephen lives at miss flowers house. At the beginning of last Episode Kathrin mentions that she lives in this house.
And no, you can't refer to the book about kathrins dead. She dies, but it wouldn't fit in the show at all. I hope she stays longer.

Oh my gosh! I just wikipedia Let The Right One In and she is a casterated boy! Wow. I don't think that's in the. American version. I haven't seen it but the actress Chloe is too pretty to be a boy.

I wanted to comment on this episode too, I loved it. It was such a mixture of emotions about the whole thing. I think Nina does an awesome job portraiting the softness of Elena and the horriblness of Katherine. It is easy to forget that they are the same actor! Stephan just about broke my heart with his crying and the Damon bit was sad too. He really was remorseful. I feel for Damon, even tho he is such a jerk at times, b/c Elena really brings out the "human" side of him. He softens around her. Those softer moments are almost enough to make me like him.
