so i finally got to watch this episode and i thought it was really, really good. i knew that katherine was running from something or was being squeezed in some way! it was such an interesting twist to have katherine be the original doppleganger! this show is so frickin' good!

ok...ok...i'm warming up to damon. when he is so sweet and sincere-at the end when he confessed his love and had retrieved her necklace-i can't help but forget that he killed her brother. i think stephan confessing that he just wanted his brother with him and thats why he turned damon really touched damon and thats why he confessed to elena but said that he didn't deserve her love and that his brother did but most importantly thats why he compelled her to forget. he knows that in order to defeat whatever is coming their way he has to have a united front with stephan and i think he realized, while in the car with stephan, just how much they love each other. elena trusts stephan enough to let him 1. start drinking blood again and 2. to let him drink her blood again...thats the elena/stephan that needs to stay together... i think damon is really going to pull it out in the end. he is going to be the 'spike" of the show and sacrafice himself for everyone else. it will be his redemption of sorts. i think we will have alot more love/hate moments with him. <side note: how funny was the blood bag scene in the car>

i'm intrigued by the rose character-i hope she isn't a match for stephan although i fear she may be since she said lexi tried to set them up once upon a time. and it is delicious that elijah is alive...tabby (a fellow listener and my roommate) and i knew he wasn't dead!

ok now i'm going to listen to this podcast...i'm kind of doing it in reverse b/c i was so excited to have finally watched this episode i had to post as soon as i could!

when i listen to the scene with rose & elena i wonder if rose isn't going to be a nice distraction for damon....

I could watch the scene with Damon confessing to Elena over and over and over again. I was always team Damon. I knew underneath all that tough hotness their was a softer, nicer side of him!

I enjoyed the Windows Phone 7 product placement. Microsoft has their paws all over Vampire Diaries. Bing, Ford SYNC, WP7. You just KNOW there's going to be an episode of Elena and the gang playing Kinect.

I also love these photos of Kristen and Rob on the set of Breaking Dawn! They look so classic! Like they are going on the Titanic for their honeymoon.

@Em-hahahaaha...you know that when they play Kinect it will be buffy the vampire slayer game :) yeah the product placement was overly obvious.

I also love the BD photos. Kristen looks pretty and Rob is as hot as ever! can't wait for the film! i had originally thought they would break for the second one right after she is turned but maybe the better part would be when irina goes to the vulturi....that could be suspensful.

@robyn

I am personally hoping to see Damon and Stefan do some brotherly bonding by playing one of those Kinect games that involves dancing. XD

@Em-honey I want to do some bonding with them-hahahahaahaha!

gotta keep it PG13 :)
