About "Being Human", isn't anyone else bothered by the fact that the vampires just walk around in the broad daylight?
I was also wondering why in Being Human they could walk around during the day. Hopefully they will explain that soon. I am also curious as to how they are turned into vampires and if they have any powers like super speed or super strength.
Did anyone else notice in TVD, that the school's mascot is the timberwolf? I thought that was pretty funny. I loved Damon this episode. It was so nice to see him care for Rose and take care of her. I felt bad for him when he had to kill her at the end and then just like that he returned to the Damon you love to hate.
I also have another book suggestion for you guys, the Queen Betsy series by Mary Janice Davidson. It's an adult series (nobody's in high school) that's on the lighter side. They are funny and a quick read. The first book in called Undead and Unemployed.
I'll have to check, but I'm not sure that the UK version ever explains why Vampires can walk in the day.
Another small difference w/ UK version, Vampires eat regular food like in TVD. I noticed that the Vamp only drank blood and they inferred that he couldn't eat.
I really want to give the U.S. version of this show a chance, but I have to say that the U.K.version rawks! Syfy will never be able to go where the U.K. production goes. Wishing them luck though :)
Th UK version of Being Human never explains why vampires can walk in the daylight. Also, the UK version has vampires eating and drinking food unlike the US version.
The executive producer of the US version explains how the show will eventually differ from the original. http://seriable.com/the-differences-between-syfys-being-human-and-bbc-original/
